PressQueue

Privacy

This page is about the website pressqueue.com. It is run by Vincent Schmalbach. His address is in the imprint. You can reach him at [email protected].

Counting visits

The site counts visits with Plausible Analytics, made by Plausible Insights OÜ in Estonia. Plausible sets no cookies and does not follow you across websites. It records which pages are opened, which site sent you here, your rough location by country, your browser and device type, and which buttons you click. It does not store your IP address.

Hosting and server logs

The site is a set of static pages on a server of Hetzner Online GmbH in Falkenstein, Germany. The server writes an access log with your IP address, the time, the page you asked for and your browser. The log helps to keep the site safe and to find errors. Logs are rotated daily and deleted after 14 days.

Requests to the site go through Cloudflare, Inc. in the USA, which delivers the pages quickly and blocks attacks. Cloudflare processes your IP address and the request for that. It takes part in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Its privacy policy is at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy .

Email

If you write to [email protected], your message and address are used to answer you and are kept as long as the conversation needs them.

Why this is allowed

Counting visits, keeping logs and using Cloudflare are based on the legitimate interest in running a safe website and understanding how it is used (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Answering your email is based on your request (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Your rights

You can ask what data about you is stored, and ask for it to be corrected, deleted or limited. You can object to processing that is based on legitimate interest, and you can complain to a data protection authority. For Bavaria that is the Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht.

The PressQueue plugin

The plugin runs on your own WordPress site and sends nothing to this website. What it sends to Buffer, and what it stores in your database, is described in the plugin's privacy page.
