    Download the ZIP

    Use the pressqueue.zip button on this page. GitHub's green "Code" button gives you the source code without the parts the plugin needs to run.

    Upload it to WordPress

    In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins, Add Plugin, Upload Plugin. Choose the ZIP and click Install Now, then Activate.

    Follow the checklist

    Open PressQueue in the admin menu. The Overview walks you through connecting Buffer, making a rule and going live. The getting started guide explains each step.

What you need

  • WordPress 6.8 or newer
  • PHP 8.1 or newer
  • Buffer An account with your social accounts added
  • Social images The PHP GD extension with FreeType

To update, upload the newer ZIP the same way. WordPress asks whether to replace the installed version, and your rules and settings stay. New versions are listed in the changelog and on the GitHub releases page , which you can follow with GitHub's Watch button. The installation page covers updates and removing the plugin.
