Getting started
Sharing posts
- Rules A rule says which posts are shared, to which channels, with what message and when.
- Conditions Pick which posts a rule covers by post type, category, tag, author or custom field.
- Messages Write the text PressQueue sends with the link, with placeholders for the title, excerpt and more.
- Timing Choose where a share goes in Buffer, from the end of the queue to a fixed date and time.
- Sharing settings for one post Switch sharing on or off for a post and change its message, channels, timing or image.
- Share now Share a published post that was never shared, after a preview of what each channel gets.
- Share old posts Pick posts you already published and share them in a batch you review first.

Staying in control
- Test mode, Live and Paused One switch decides whether PressQueue records shares, sends them or holds them.
- "Never share" rules Keep a category, tag, author or kind of post off social media, no matter what other rules say.
- Opt-in sharing Make new posts start with sharing switched off, so only the posts you pick go out.
- Activity See what was sent, what is waiting and what needs a look, with a plain reason for each share.
- Troubleshooting What to check when nothing is shared, shares wait too long or Buffer rejects a post.
Reference
- Frequently asked questions Short answers about Buffer, networks, cost, old posts and what PressQueue does not do.
- Privacy and data What PressQueue stores, what it sends to Buffer, and how to export or delete it.
- Permissions Who can see and change what in PressQueue, and how to give writers the sharing panel.
- Changelog What changed in each PressQueue release.
